jump in the pool

What a week. And once more in the blogging world, I can go on about anything and everything that I want.

So much can happen in the space of a week. 168 hours.

What I did this week: climbed to the top of a construction site, went swimming in the ocean after our after party, drank too much sangria, did Oktoberfest, wore a long black dress, received a gift, did two tests, was late for one test, got a new laptop, spent too much time in one spot with one person, yelled at the publishing company for not getting the job done on time, danced on the stage at some weird little back alley pub.

This is a photo from Valedictory.
This was valedictory last year.
These are the boys.
On a completely unrelated note, this is S. Carey an American singer/ songwriter. His music is a cross between Bon Iver and Jose Gonzalez.
I officially went over to the darkside on Monday. I purchased a MacBook Pro.
I thought it would be harder to make the switch, considering I've used a 'normal' computer my entire life, except the time my cousin got the G3 400Mhz iMac. And I used to think that was so cool. A big, fat tangerine coloured computer with a built in harddrive. I'm thankful in a way, that I grew up with a bit of a closet computer nerd cousin. I definitely learnt more than I ever could have from a life-time subscription to PC Authority.
We had dinner last night in Glebe. It was Mexican at Flying Fajita Sistas and it was so fun. So many tortillas, wraps, dips, Coronas and sangria.
This was the spice rack aptly titled the "Wall of Pain".
The menus were cute, the interior was so vibrant and there were zero tacky Mexican souvenirs anyway. Fantastic.

I'm not too sure about this picture/words which seems to strive for a feminist standpoint. I don't believe that a woman holding the possibility of sex is her ultimate power, nor should it be emphasised as such. It simplifies women down to one minute aspect of their capabilities and the same can be said for men. Running around knowing that you can screw anyone around you isn't such a special or empowering feeling.
