So instead of waxing lyrical about how I never get around to writing anymore, I'm just going to write.

So the issue of whether or not people let others know about their blogs. Blogging, in my personal experience, has not always had the best reputation. And now with the resurgence of interest in the form of people creating tumblr accounts (which I abhor and I am yet to see a good one) the rep worsens I think. With Tumblr accounts, from what I can tell, you are just reposting pictures and words of other people. I think I've across one too many maintained by angsty sixteen year olds still going through that torturous phase where boys meant the world and that all consuming love is all they know (God knows I probably went through it at one stage, but by no means did I have a tumblr account to express myself with).
Anyway (and of course I've digressed as usual) I've literally only told one person I'm friends with about this. Another one of my friends knows that I do this but hasn't actually read it. I like having this bit of private space on the internet (which totally doesn't make sense because pretty much anyone can just find this) where I can pour things out, put things on display and rant about anything.

Our masquerade ball is on tonight! I can't wait to wear my dress. And mask, I guess hahahahaha. I'm so, so, so, so excited! And I guess that ties it all up in a way, this blog isn't necessarily a mask, but the beautiful anonymity of the internet serves as a perfect one!
