if you fall hard, i fall harder

I am in the process of packing for college once more. It is impossible trying to make everything fit. The end result of my efforts looks more like that creature in "Spirited Away". The thing that ate everything in it's path.

I can't stop listening to the Shout Out Loud's new track "Fall Hard". It's a jaunty little thing, laced with bittersweet lyrics.

I know that if you eat certain foods before you go to sleep, you're more prone to having dreams/ nightmares. But I wonder if the same theory applies to songs? I was listening to Florence and the Machine's "Hurricane Drunk" the other night and had the most vivid dream relating to the song.

Cause I know it's going to hurt,

But I like to think at least things can't get any worse.

My new room is going to be adorned with so many pictures, including the one below "Girl with a Hair Ribbon" by Roy Lichtenstein. All I need to find now, is some fairylights.

I'd like to think I was past thinking about him. But this obviously shows that I'm not. I think it was that drunken Valentine's day call I got. I know I deserve better but then you're in it, you see it differently. You make excuses.

On a perfectly unrelated note, the return to college means new freshers!!!
