I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas and New Years, no matter where you were or what you were doing.
Here are some of my favorite things at the moment:

Cute little outfit drawings. I wish I had the time to draw my outfits everyday. Especially if they looked half as cute as this.

Most people I know love Donnie Darko, even people who don't usually get even slightly disjointed films. S. Darko, the sequel, however was met with mixed reviews. I liked it. Each camera placement was like a editorial from an alternative street magazine. The boys in it aren't half bad either.

I'm over celebrity crushes I swear, but something about Jackson Rathborne just gets me. Everytime. I think they should make a film about Jeff Buckley with Rathborne playing the lead.

This band, Local Natives, are pretty awesome. Try their song "Airplanes", it got me almost as excited as when I first heard "Little Lion Man".
By the way, here is what I voted for in the triplej hottest 100 (and no i won't be self centred and explain my choices):
- Mumford & Sons - Little Lion Man
- Bag Raiders - Shooting Stars
- Bloody Beetroots, The - Warp 1.9
- Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros - Home
- Florence & The Machine - Dog Days Are
- Over Friendly Fires - Skeleton Boy
- La Roux - In For The Kill
- Passion Pit - Moth's Wings
- Silversun Pickups - It's Nice To Know You Work Alone
- Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Heads Will Roll
Some things I'm not liking so much:

The Time Traveler's Wife, which came out late last year didn't really evoke anymore emotion in me than the book. To be honest I enjoyed the book so much more. It just didn't really do anything new. I mean it would have been perfectly fine for those who hadn't read it but no, waste of 2 or so hours for me.

The platforms that internet affords for closet (or even blatant) racists. The amount of shit floating around is completely ridonk. I think if you click the picture, it will enlarge it. It's not like that shit is hard to find anyway.
there is so much bad but also good in the world. Don't ignore the bad, just don't always ignore the good either.

Love that little fashion illustration, so cute! And oh, I've never seen "Donnie Darko", but I've been wanting to, for eons!
Thanks so much for your sweet comment, dear! ♥ And oh no, that's not me, in that photo, or any of them, I'm really terribly camera shy. >_<
